Legion is the first band from the infamous Project Blowed dedicated to the advancement of hip-hop and bridging the gap between generations of music. This group is into producing many types of music…jazz, reggae, on top of coming up with some incredible live underground hip-hop. Their boundaries are limitless!

Legion started in 1995 gelled together by Goodlife Café host Chung Chu (Goodlife: world-renowned LA open Mic spot that ran from 1989 to1994). Adam, the lead guitarist, invested in digital recording equipment giving the band the opportunity to capture its sound. Most of the MCing is freestyle rap (unwritten lyrics) and concepts for songs are usually on the spot as well. The members consist of Adam (lead guitar), Theo (bass guitar), Kharon (drums), Ebow (keyboards), and freestyle MCs lead by Chung Chu (Freestyle Guru).

The band was known to perform at world famous 5th Street Dicks frequently and the Project Blowed (Thursday night open Mic spot located at 4343 Leimert in Los Angeles, CA). The band has performed at important community functions such as Dis-Arm (artists against police brutality) and Free Mumia. The fellas also had the opportunity to perform on "Jenny Jones" and "Vibe".

Legion along with Afterlife produced EP, "Kaos Cou De Ta" which is available thru Afterlife Recordz. The group is also featured on the debut compilation albums, "Welcome to the Afterlife" and "Declaration of an Independent" along with being featured on solo album from fellow label artist, Filet of Soul entitled "NGAFSH 99 DA UPGRADE".

Legion is currently working on their debut album entitled "Before U Join…" that will drop early March 2001. The band has big plans for filming live shows in the near future to be available thru Afterlife.
